The client was confronted with a severe cybersecurity breach that posed a significant threat to their operations. The challenge was to rapidly address the ransomware/malware infiltration, restore compromised data, and secure the environment against future attacks.

Akins IT promptly engaged Arctic Wolf’s Incident Response team, reaching an agreement within the same day. Over the ensuing weekend, the combined efforts of Akins IT and Arctic Wolf eradicated the malware, restored the data, and executed a reverse hack to eliminate the client's data from the dark web.
To bridge the security gap, temporary XDR and SIEM solutions were deployed for immediate protection and root cause analysis. Subsequently, a long-term contract was established with Arctic Wolf, encompassing SIEM as a Service, Continuous Vulnerability Scanning, and Managed Security Awareness with a $1,000,000 warranty, including MDR, MR, and MSA services.
